We would like to introduce you to Chris Albright – a production associate here at Press-Seal.
Chris has been with the company since February 2018 and works in our pipe gasket division.
Every one of our teammates has interests outside of work and that is the work/life balance we embrace here at Press-Seal. Chris’s passion outside of work is break dancing.
It’s my biggest stress reliever and I can just unleash all of that stress on the dance floor.
Break dancing, or breaking, was born in the Bronx during the early 70’s as a way for people to express themselves during breaks at a party.
When the music would stop at a party, people would take that time to show off some other unique dance moves as individuals. And then it just evolved into this community type thing where people from all walks of life started break dancing all over New York City and it just spread across the country.
Competition amongst breakers takes place all over the country every month and the format is setup like any other tournament.
There’s a bracket just like you see in the NCAA tournament and there’s teams of 1, 2 or 3 people and then when we’re finished we shake hands and move on.
Chris has family members who have worked for Press-Seal and currently has several friends who work here as well.
